The Stearman was produced by Boeing, in its Wichita plant, Kansas, from 1936 to 1944.
The PT-18 version was launched in 1941 to fit out the US Army Air Force, which will become the US Air Force in 1947.
This version was powered by the R-755-7 , seven cylinders radial engine, with a 133mm x 127mm bore and stroke, and a 12,4 litres displacement !
